Piano is a foundational instrument

Not only does it require the ability to find and play the notes on the keyboard, but playing the piano also requires the ability to read the music and understand it.

Note names, rhythms, key signatures, time signatures, musical markings and terms, scales, music theory, and tonal recall

Piano is a great way to enhance brain development and improve cognitive skills, like memory, attention, and problem-solving. It also helps with fine-motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
